WGA Episode Number
[edit]I don't want to be accused of violating WP:EDITWAR so going to explain the reason why episode # is not there. The episode # is production order, not the official episode count. We should not assume that per WP:SYNTH, and wait for the official episode count, as there's WP:NORUSH. CartoonnewsCP (talk) 01:36, 8 October 2020 (UTC)
- WGA clearly states as Episode Number as the column heading. Where did it said that's the production order? — YoungForever(talk) 01:49, 8 October 2020 (UTC)
- Yes but after looking into it, that's not the episode broadcast number. If you see Family Guy's WGA for their recent season, the episode order does not match the official order on the press releases, hence these are not the actual broadcast episode numbers. CartoonnewsCP (talk) 01:52, 8 October 2020 (UTC)
- Textbook SYNTH, using one source (Family Guy) to determine what another source (Next) says. -- /Alex/21 13:01, 8 October 2020 (UTC)
- I understand your concern, but Both of them come from the same website though the WGA directories. So is that really WP:OR? CartoonnewsCP (talk) 16:47, 8 October 2020 (UTC)
- Yes. SYNTH concerns two sources, not different sites. How they list one series may not be how they list another. -- /Alex/21 23:30, 8 October 2020 (UTC)

Air date
[edit]I've noticed there's been a bit of an edit war over the air date for the third episode. My understanding is that the original air date mentioned in the Episodes subsection should be when it airs on television. Am I correct?
Per the Variety link [1] and the Futon Critic link [2] , only two episodes have aired on Fox.
Thanks, David O. Johnson (talk) 08:16, 31 October 2020 (UTC)
- The ip addresses are clearly disruptive editing as they are going against reliable sources. In addition, File #3 certainly did not aired on FOX on October 27, 2020 due to World Series game in the United States. Air dates are according to FOX (U.S. Eastern Time) because FOX is the primary network. File #3 was just released early on October 14, 2020 online only (not broadcast on FOX network itself) which was mentioned on the note. — YoungForever(talk) 08:31, 31 October 2020 (UTC)
- Here is another reliable source: [3]. — YoungForever(talk) 19:11, 31 October 2020 (UTC)
- I’m gonna be requesting 30/500 protection of this page as it seems like the only disruptive editing is coming from a near-autoconfirmed account. The source says October 14, they’re the only one disagreeing. D🐶ggy54321 (let's chat!) 19:22, 31 October 2020 (UTC)
- Doggy54321, there are multiple refs that I've posted in this section that indicate only two episodes have actually aired on Fox. David O. Johnson (talk) 19:26, 31 October 2020 (UTC)
- @David O. Johnson: what about Hulu? Also, a primary source (meaning that this information is indeed correct, why would they lie about their own show) confirms that three episodes are airing on FOX as of October 14. So I'm a little confused. D🐶ggy54321 (let's chat!) 19:29, 31 October 2020 (UTC)
- "File #3" was released online only via Hulu and Fox.com, it certainly did not broadcast on FOX on October 27, 2020 as the World Series game was airing during that time. — YoungForever(talk) 19:34, 31 October 2020 (UTC)
- D🐶ggy54321, there's a distinction between airing on Fox.com (as mentioned in the tweet) and actually airing on the Fox channel (which won't take place until November 10, per the three refs in this section).David O. Johnson (talk) 19:39, 31 October 2020 (UTC)
- @David O. Johnson and YoungForever: oh lol my mistake. So there are three episodes on fox.com and Hulu, and two on FOX, with the third scheduled for Nov 10? D🐶ggy54321 (let's chat!) 19:48, 31 October 2020 (UTC)
- Correct, reliable sources are there.— YoungForever(talk) 19:51, 31 October 2020 (UTC)
- Ok thanks! D🐶ggy54321 (let's chat!) 20:00, 31 October 2020 (UTC)
- @Doggy54321: & @David O. Johnson: Here is the fourth reliable source directly from FOX Official Press Release website: [4] which clearly reads "Tuesday, Nov 10" for the airdate of the "File #3" episode. — YoungForever(talk) 22:40, 31 October 2020 (UTC)
- @Doggy54321: & @YoungForever: Thanks. It looks like it's settled, then. David O. Johnson (talk) 00:50, 1 November 2020 (UTC)

- @Doggy54321: Sadly, it would most likely get denied by an admin. I wouldn't get my hopes up of getting the article 30/500 page protected. — YoungForever(talk) 20:44, 31 October 2020 (UTC)
- @Doggy54321: & @David O. Johnson: The article is semi-page protected for 2 months only so, the new editor may resume the disruptive editing after they have been autocomfirmed. — YoungForever(talk) 17:23, 1 November 2020 (UTC)
- @YoungForever: they're already autoconfirmed as of yesterday. I'll leave a message on the protecting editor's talk page to request 30/500 protection, and bring up the fact that the user is autoconfirmed. D🐶ggy54321 (let's chat!) 17:27, 1 November 2020 (UTC)

- @Doggy54321: The sockmaster is still using multiple IP addresses to harass me by vandalizing my Talk and reverting my edits on multiple articles for no reason. — YoungForever(talk) 16:26, 12 November 2020 (UTC)
- @YoungForever: I’m watching your main/talk pages so that I can lend a helping hand. I’ll add all the IPs I can find to the SPI (if you haven’t already done). Other than that, there’s not much we can do unless we can get a full IP range blocked. D🐶ggy54321 (let's chat!) 16:30, 12 November 2020 (UTC)
