Is "Belle Grove PLanation" (referenced in this article) supposed to be "Belle Grove Plantation"? --Orlady (talk) 01:22, 29 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Yes it would have. That would have been my mistake. Chalk it up to typing too fast when I wrote the article. Thanks for the correction. - NeutralHomerTalk15:11, 29 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
So I'm not the only one around here who makes typing mistakes?!? I was 99% sure that was supposed to be "plantation", but I figured it was better to ask than to assume. Glad it's fixed. --Orlady (talk) 15:39, 29 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Not a problem :) If you see anymore mistakes in that article, let me know and I will be glad to fix them :) - NeutralHomerTalk15:57, 29 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

NRHP.COM source replaced

[edit]

I replaced references to www.NationalRegisterOfHistoricPlaces.Com in the article. That is a private website which is a mirror of the public domain National Register's NRIS database. Anything from "NRHP.COM" is really from NRIS, and i think citing NRIS is preferable. By the way there are occasional typo errors in NRIS, which is itself derived from the NRHP application documents of individual places. NRHP.COM is mostly the same as NRIS, only differing in that its programming introduces some further errors, such as for areas of places which it mis-states by a factor of 10. Hope this is helpful info for background. --doncram (talk) 16:37, 20 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks Doncram. I kinda threw every reference I could find on Google at the page. This is my second big "write from scratch" page, so I am learning. :) Thanks for your help. If you see anything else that needs tinkering, feel free. - NeutralHomerTalk23:29, 20 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
