Adding a Notable buildings and areas section

[edit]

I suggest we add a Notable buildings and areas section with Newtimber Wood and areas on the scarp and downland like Newtimber Holt, Summer Down and the Dyke Golf Course and we move Saddlescombe into the section, but keep the listed buildings and scheduled monuments section separate. Merge proposal

[edit]

Guidelines at Wikipedia:WikiProject UK geography/How to write about settlements state that ideally the civil parish should be the catch-all article, avoiding single line articles on every village and landmark within the parish.

Therefore, I suggest that villages within the parish with a one or two sentence article, ie Saddlescombe to be merged and redirected to this parish article. ++ MortimerCat (talk) 05:57, 15 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed - I've proposed the merger. Topo122 (talk) 17:18, 3 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
