I am reviewing this article. Feel free, of course, to ask me any questions or make comments. Diderot's dreams (talk) 19:00, 28 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I see a lot work has gone into this page, but I don't think you've established the notability of this 1 mile little jig. I recommend you merge this article with the one for State Route 321. I'm going to recuse myself from the review since I'm the one who placed the tags. Diderot's dreams (talk) 21:58, 1 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, I'm asking for advice on how to proceed. Diderot's dreams (talk) 22:19, 1 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

You do know that there are many articles with less than a mile in length? It should be fine notability concerned, and its sort of for a featured topic, but you are free to say your opinion :) - Anyway, I don't usually write articles on <1 mile or 1 mile roads, unless I can prove it can reach standards. Now as it is concerned, this is my medium to low high standard. :) Anyway, leave a message on my talk page, but there are articles of this kind, (see New York State Route 990V, New York State Route 915E, New York State Route 990L, New York State Route 962J, New York State Route 961F, New York State Route 912C New York State Route 920P, New York State Route 914T, New York State Route 952Q which also exist.) Reference routes are the lowest class of state-maintained highways in New York and are generally not given articles. If I am correct, this is the newest reference route article in several months ;) Mitch32(Go Syracuse) 23:17, 1 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
OK, here's the deal. The road needs to satisfy the Notability guidelines: namely it has to be mentioned in a more than trivial way in a reliable source. This is means more than a line in a table or a passing mention in a sentence. I looked through the sources available online, and I don't see that, a paragraph or something. The road's length I mentioned only in passing, of course it doesn't matter, notability does. If you can show me this, I'll be happy to take the tags down and fully review the article, as it seems like a nice little road which otherwise deserves an article. :-) Diderot's dreams (talk) 01:30, 2 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Well, no one in that area knows it as Route 931F locally. Route 931F is known as Forward Road, and only NYSDOT cares about 931F in that term, that's also why its in few (all the NYSDOT) sources. It doesn't make any difference, as there is no change in article if it was moved to Forward Road (Bennetts Corners–Martisco, New York) or something to that extent. Its called New York State Route 931F as that is the commonly accepted name from.Mitch32(Go Syracuse) 01:40, 2 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I am aware that 931F is aka Forward Road, and none of your sources have mentioned 931F or Forward Road in the ways I've described, as far as I have looked. If they have, then please show me. Else this article needs to be merged. Diderot's dreams (talk) 12:55, 2 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

After further consideration, I am recusing myself from the review. Diderot's dreams (talk) 12:55, 2 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
