I suppose there's not a lot of information to work with on a road so short. For what it is, the article seems fairly comprehensive. I had a few concerns as I read through it:

  1. For consistency with other road articles, I believe the map should be included in the infobox and the picture should be placed in the article.
    • Fixed.
  1. The caption for the map should indicate that the road in question is shown in red.
    • Done.
  1. Images should not be left-aligned under level 2 headings (such as "Route description").
    • Changed.
  1. The infofox seems to indicate that the road was also called Halfway Road, but this is not mentioned in the article.
    • Added.
  1. When the article says "by 1947", am I to assume that this means 1947 at the latest, but earlier information isn't readily available?
    • Actually, its been updated, but no exact date is known.
  1. Could the directions of the turns be indicated in the route description? This would help the consistency with other road articles.
    • Not possible.
  1. "entering the hamlet of Halfway (a hamlet of Elbridge..." Could this be rewritten as "entering Halway (a hamlet of Elbridge..." to avoid repetition of the word "hamlet" (particularly since "hamlet of" is used to mean two different things)?
    • Fixed.
  1. What does "swapped" mean in this context? Is it a word that is usually used this way when referring to roads?
    • New York and Michigan have used maintenance swaps (as referred to by the state govs.) to trade routes between county and state.
  1. If it appears on traffic counts, can any information about this be included?
    • It appears in Route 321 traffic counts, not ones for 368. They would end up being part of NY 321's.
  1. For the "Route description" section, it is mentioned that it passes roads and a creek. Are any of these significant enough to be named in the article? It seems that there are only three roads, so it probably couldn't hurt.
    • Names added, they are the main landmarks along Halfway Road (368/107) - and should be mentioned fully.
  1. "Just near the southern terminus was the Carpenters Brook County Fish Hatchery" is a little awkward. Perhaps "The Carpenters Brook County Fish Hatchery was located near the southern terminus."? Is the hatchery still there? I"m not sure if the past tense is used because the road was decommissioned or if the hatchery has closed.
    • Because its written in past tense for the decommissioned highway. The Hatchery is still there.
  1. Can you explain why the article is not named by its current title (County Route 107)? I believe that 368 is the correct place for the article, but I'm not sure why.
    • Because the standard for most roads are to place it under the former SR name. There are inconsistencies, but that's something the project needs to fix.
  1. Reference 7 needs a publisher.
    • Done
  1. References 8 and 9 are inconsistent. One gives NYSDOT as the author, and the other gives it as the publisher. It should be the same for both.
    • Done

I will place this nomination on hold to allow for these changes to be made. Any questions or comments can be left here, as I have placed this page on my watchlist. Best wishes, GaryColemanFan (talk) 19:20, 11 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Replies, I was in Philly when this happened, so I did it now.Mitch32(UP) 23:12, 11 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for such a quick reply. I am satisfied that all of my concerns have been addressed. Like I said, it's a short article, but that doesn't mean it can't be a Good Article if it meets the criteria. I am promoting the article.
If you have a chance, it would be great if you could review an article in return to cut down on the backlog at WP:GAN. Thanks, GaryColemanFan (talk) 05:08, 12 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
