Former designations
[edit]Is 218 the old (pre-bypass) route of 9W? Looks like it might have been. Anyone know? Daniel Case 17:25, 15 March 2006 (UTC)
- Looks that way based on maps. US 9W was routed off modern 218 and onto a bypass of Highland Falls and Cornwall-on-Hudson between 1938 and 1942, and its former routing became 218. – TMF 05:13, 15 April 2009 (UTC)
