IP users vandalizing in the same manner

[edit]

These IP users have vandalized this page in the same manner since October 23: changing Mr. Rhea's name to form a potty humor joke, and inserting racial slurs. If it happens again, a sockpuppet report will be filed against all vandals vandalizing in this manner.

Corrections

[edit]

Big Pun is not from Soundview Houses, but is from nearby commonwealth avenue. Park Hill Houses is a federal subsidized housing complex, not NYCHA. Bxdale83 (talk) 06:08, 10 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Michael Kelly is no longer the General Manager of NYCHA. He was replaced by Vito Mustaciuolo on January 22, 2018, by Mayor de Blasio. I corrected this in the Agency Overview. Ornsteij (talk) 13:48, 9 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

"Fun Facts?"

[edit]

Why is the section with miscellaneous info called "FUN FACTS"? Why "FUN"? It's not exactly safe housing. Actually, another section is missing, there's no list of the buildings in Manhattan. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.14.228.130 (talk) 21:08, 15 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Building List

[edit]

Here are lists of NYCHA buildings from their website for someone who wants to update the list: http://www.nyc.gov/html/nycha/html/resources/development-maps.shtml Neuroschizl (talk) 01:23, 20 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Statistics

[edit]

Why are there almost no citations for the 'Statistics' section? Neuroschizl (talk) 01:23, 20 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I noticed that too, the only source listed on the section doesn't provide any of the information listed. I think the entire section should be removed until some actual sources can be gathered to back up the claims (many of which seem oddly specific and suspect to me personally). FamAD123 (talk) 09:43, 29 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

According to the NYCHA 2017 Fact Sheet, a number of the listed statistics are wrong. For instance, NYCHA has 326 developments, not 344. I may make necessary changes according to the agency's latest fact sheet. Ornsteij (talk) 15:45, 9 April 2018 (UTC)[1][reply]

List of Properties

[edit]

In April 2023, an IP user moved the full list of properties into the main NYCHA page. It's incredibly unweildy and I'd like to remove them from here, keeping them seperate, like previously. This is a big move, so wanted to check in case anyone had an issue with it.
