Market Town status?

I'm adding Romney to Category:Market towns in Kent on the basis of A list of Market Towns but I'm happy to stand corrected as there is no mention in the article of markets or the appropriate Royal Charter. p.r.newman (talk) 16:54, 19 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
