Soundtracks and tribute albums?

[edit]

I'm a bit unsure about these sections. Both are only complete to an arbitrary extent right now, and, to be honest, already seem a bit superfluous. Many other bands with far more examples of such things seem to be doing fine without. (Pink Floyd and Depeche Mode come to mind, as far as tribute albums go...)

On the other hand, at least the soundtracks section includes a couple of items integral to the band's history.

Any thoughts? --Unint 04:15, 28 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

The soundtracks bit is particularly a bit uncomplete and doesn't really provide much useful or interesting information (although thats just down to opinion). It might be worth reducing the soundtracks section, as you point out, just to important appearances. I'm not fussed either way for both sections, particuarly the tribute albums bit, but you do have a point. SaltyWater 23:35, 29 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Unknown 13:07 28 April 2020 (UTC) Missing is the most famous soundtrack use of a New Order song of all time..."True Faith" in Bright Lights Big City...and the song is on the actual soundtrack album

Taras Shevchenko

[edit]

I added a link to Taras Shevchenko, who is the national hero of Ukraine. Nice trivia right? Mariah-Yulia 04:44, 13 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

"Turn", "Guilt Is a Useless Emotion"

[edit]

should 'turn' the single really be here? it appears to have been cancelled. should 'guilt is a useless emotion' be included? it was a download only single in the US and charted in the dance charts over there. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 164.11.204.52 (talkcontribs)

Out of Order...

[edit]

Just a note, I added an article for the album Out of Order. I have this album, but could not find much information online about it. If someone else knows more about it, please feel free to add to my article. Also, if someone would mind adding it to the discography page as needed. Thanks... - Adolphus79 19:19, 24 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This should probably be taken directly to the experts at neworderonline.com. If it's not an official release (which it probably isn't, given that there are remix service remixes on it), it'll be more useful on a discography like theirs, which covers bootlegs. –Unint 19:38, 24 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Best Remixes

[edit]

Is there a reason Best Remixes isn't listed on this page? I don't know much about the album and have never seen a physical copy so it may be download only. It is an official release with lots of original material on it so I think it should be included in the discography and it should probably even have an article written for it. I would be the one to do it but all I have is a track list, I don't know any background details on who did the remixes, when they were done, etc. Thanks.
