The section Followup meeting—January 2007 uses the terms moderate and conservative in the same way as it is/was used in the Southern Baptist Convention takeover/resurgence controversy. This meeting includes many participant (possibly a majority) who have no connection with this controversy and therefore really do not fall within this use of moderate and conservative. Several of the groups and denominations participating may well be as or more conservative than the SBC. Calling the General Association of General Baptists, a participant, less conservative than the SBC is probably a mistake.
