The cross reference includes:

  • IR 015: FAI 015, SR 6, US 91, US 466, FAP 5
  • SR 601: FAU 601, FAP 005, SR 5, 6, 6A
  • SR 604: FAU 604, FAP 005, SR 6, 6B, FAS 142, 143, SAR 738, US 91, US 93

FAP 5/SR 6/US 91 apparently used I-15 from California to Jean, SR 604 from Jean through Las Vegas to Apex, and I-15 and old alignments to Arizona. The SR 6 listed with SR 601 may refer to an older alignment. But then what's SR 6B?

SR 5 was US 95 through Las Vegas. So it apparently jogged from Fremont Street to Bonanza Road on SR 601. But 1965 Rand McNally and old NDOT maps show it on SR 604.

SR 601 was apparently US 91 Alternate. But that's not listed here, only a much longer route south to Jean. That route is in the 1965 Rand McNally but not on old NDOT maps.

1953-1967 NDOT maps show either US 91 on both SR 601 and SR 604 or a jog at Bonanza Road (SR 601 south, SR 604 north). (US 93 is with US 91 on SR 604 north of Bonanza.)

Old NDOT maps don't help at all with the State Routes. --SPUI (T - C) 21:37, 31 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
