Alt 95 Spur?
[edit]Wasn't the part of this highway between the junction with U.S. Alt 95 in Fernley and the interchange with I-80 once designated as U.S. Alternate 95 Spur? I've seen it on one or two maps, but I don't know if it was ever so designated in the field or recognized by AASHTO or any legal body. 69.42.7.98 (talk) 04:56, 28 August 2009 (UTC)
- I've read that US 95 Alt Spur existed. The conversion table in NDOT's route log lists US 95 Alt Spur as a historical designation for SR 427; that does not give specific dates the designation was used, but only shows that it was in use prior to 12-31-1991. I cannot recall ever seen it on any old maps--it won't show on most old NDOT maps because they generally don't have enough detail for the Fernley/Wadsworth area. If you know of a map that shows it, please list it here to help verify. --LJ (talk) 09:58, 28 August 2009 (UTC)
