The Sanskrit words used in this article -- neti, sutra neti, jala neti -- erroneously use the wrong short vs. the long vowel ending. The neti referenced here has the long vowel, and the Devanagari is also wrong. I believe the same is true for the word in sutra neti and jala neti.

Here's an online reference: [1] Note it shows the word in IAST as netī, not neti, and in Devanagari as नेती, not नेति (long vs.short vowel). This is a different word from the one in https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Neti_neti, which is formed as sandha from na + iti.

Interestingly, the linked article on https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Shatkarma correctly indicates the long vowel and includes no Devanagari. 73.251.172.82 (talk) 19:19, 14 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The web page cited does not support the idea that sutra neti is used to remove nasal polyps, this statement should probably be removed.90.152.13.216 (talk) 12:41, 25 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
