why is it not necessary to have a negative acknowledgement 0(NAK0) and negative acknowledgement 1(NAK1) in Stop-and-wait ARQ?

Merge

[edit]

Neko-chan suggested a merge from NAK (protocol message).

We should also talk about Acknowledgement (data networks) and Acknowledge character. I probably could be convinced to merge both pairs or even merge everything together. I also don't see a problem leaving everything as it is. I'd like to hear why the merge was proposed. ~Kvng (talk) 23:02, 28 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
From my amateurish level of telecommunications understanding, it seems kind of redundant to have two separate articles on something called NAK, that seem close enough to be the same thing. One's the message itself, and one is the symbol sent in the message. They're also stubs, so combining them would bump up the detail for the topic a notch. --~ neko-chan :3 (talk) 16:44, 30 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
