Birth and death date discrepancy
[edit]Text has c. 1300-1250 BC, while categories have 1292-1225 BC; knowing there are difficulties with Egyptian chronology, is there a way to reconcile the dates so they align properly? More research probably needed; LC authority file no help.--FeanorStar7 14:55, 27 May 2007 (UTC)
Nefertari's Status
[edit]"Nefertari was known as the principal wife of RamsesII. She was considered beautiful in her time and was greatly popular in performing . Most of Pharaoh's wives were used for sex and they had a low status among the royal court. They were known as prostitutes or concubines and although nefertari is a principal wife, her main purpose was to have sex."
This statement has nothing to back it up. It sounds like something someone just made up. I'm sure it isn't true as wives were for producing children, and sometimes they ruled on the throne. I think it needs to be deleted. Onikan (talk) 05:19, 24 September 2009 (UTC)
When did she live?
[edit]Interestingly enough, the article does not say. One has to look at the categories or click one of the links to extract that information. GregorB (talk) 23:52, 28 May 2011 (UTC)
Recent change in lede
[edit]Recently, edits (https://wiki.riteme.site/w/index.php?title=Nefertari&oldid=1096541533) added the translation of "the most beautiful". I am unsure if it's notable to be in the lede, so tried to rv the edit, but it was undone again, so I moved it to the name section ( I am not familiar with this topic, I was only patrolling at Recent Changes, so if this is a mistake apologies). Could other contributors please comment on this change? VickKiang (talk) 04:08, 5 July 2022 (UTC)
