None of the sources found establish notability. I will redirect the article. --B. Wolterding 13:11, 13 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This review has been announced on the talk page of WikiProject India. Comments should be added on this page, below.

As part of the Notability wikiproject, I am trying to sort out whether this TV series is notable enough to have its own article. Actually there are currently no secondary sources cited, so notability is questionable. But I know hardly anything about TV in India. Could you have a look whether sources can be found?

Your opinions are welcome; please add your comments below. --B. Wolterding 15:18, 3 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Neem ka Ped was a TV series on Lucknow Doordarshan, but unfortunately I don't know much about it! As it was a TV series I see no harm in having an article about it. I am currently looking for sources, but Google isn't very helpful. I can't find anything on the Doordarshan website or Lucknow Doordarshan website either. These other links were all I could find on Google, and are simply interviews with actors and barely mention the name of the series once: 1 2. Will look for more, hopefully much better, sources. UPDATE - a Wikipedia article on Rahi Masoom Raza, the person who (according to the article) wrote Neem ka Ped? Also mentions that it is a novel with the same name? Shruti14 ( talkcontribs ) 19:38, 9 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for your help - none of these sources establish notability, however. Wikipedia itself is not a valid secondary source for Wikipedia. But still the information is useful - I will redirect the TV series article to Rahi Masoom Raza. It can be expanded again at any time once more sources about the TV series have been found. --B.
