His comments to Hunter Education Commission

In 1882 AD, Nawab abdool luteef, highlighting the social importance of the study of Arabic and Persian, expressed his comments to the Hunter Education Commission as follows: 'Unless a Mohamedan is a Persian and Arabic scholar, he cannot attain a respectable position in Mohamedan society, ie he will not be regarded as a scholar. And unless he has such a position, he can have no influence in the Mohamedan community'.

I believe articles from Banglapedia are not copyrighted entirely, but with paraphrasing and brief quotations is a valid source; if the position of the author is mentioned. 113.11.48.240 (talk) 17:09, 21 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
