I would have simply added to this page the fact (with a reference) that there are White-fringed Weevils in Australia also, but this talk page seems to imply that this would be frowned upon if I didn't first join the WikiProject Insects project. Is that a true reading of the template at the top of this Talk page? If so, I suggest that this could have a stifling effect on potential contributions, as not everyone (e.g. myself) wants to do more than a single contribution when they come across an omission that they would be able to correct. If someone already within the project would like to add it, here is the evidence for a reference: http://bie.ala.org.au/species/Naupactus+leucoloma. Otherwise I'm happy to do it.
