The real purpose of this article

[edit]

I feel the purpose of this article is to educate people that there are naturists who are also christians and shouldn't involve a corporation of a similar name. The corporation definitely don't represent all naturists who are christian.

We need to keep it neutral and have it represent all who use the name and all websites that speak to this segment of society.cyndiann 13:06, 16 April 2006 (UTC)cyndiann[reply]

There are some very good naturist websites for Christians, but one should be careful when going to the one owned by Bill Martin, Naturist Christians. Bill Martin is very biased. He states in this discussion that no one can posts untruths. I guess he should not talk then. If we say anything here about Natura, Naturist Christians website, or Continuing Care, Inc. it will be the truth and should be investigated by those whom care to know the truth. Please do an internet search on Continuing Care, Inc. and find out about the fiasco in Sarasota County Florida where Martin owned several companies doing service for his company Continuing Care, Inc. We have added text to the article trying to warn folks, but it is edited every time.

The information provided above by Cyndiann, the owner of a pornographic and bondage site contains signficant falsehoods. Martin "never" owned several or even one company doing work for Continuing Care, Inc, Naturist Christians (www.naturist-christians.org) is a site owned/sponsored By a 501-c-3 corporation and has 22,500 regisgtered members. Clearly we don't claim that we represent all Christian naturists; if fact we accept a broad range of beliefs so long as the naturism which is supported is pure and non sexual. We do not tolerate pornography or other sexual fetishes.

Talk out an irrelevant subject in Sarasota County is also a falsehood. This involved 9 lawsuits brought about by the Martin family and settled out of court completely in favor of the Martin family. The Martin's had charged another with usary at 59% interest. When the suits were withdrawn, the Sarasota Herald Tribune investigated and reported that they found or could verify that about 98% of the claims made were true.

I believe the statements by Cyndiann are not verifable and should be removed. They are indeed libelous and slanderous. WRM

You should know that Cyndiann did not write the statements regarding Continuing Care, someone else did. The discussion was just placed under her previous discussion. However, WRM, or Bill Martin does make claims to being the founder and facilitator of Continuing Care, Inc. and just because suits were withdrawn does not mean that they were not valid. If a judge never decided on the law sutis, than we will never really know, will we? I also find it hard to believe there are that many fools out there that would want to be members. Since this article is about naturist Christians, I would like to know why Bill Martin does not behave like a Christian or a naturist, but wants you all to believe he is both. So anyone involved with this article should be very wary of contact with this man. Did you all know that when reporters he invited to the Natura Fellowship house got their rented car stuck, he did nothing to help them. You SHOULD know that the good folks from the Florida Naturist Park did bring their tractor over to help. After Martin found out, he threatened the FNP folks with trespassing. We do not believe that this is the way Chrisians should act. Just one example. He did do this because we have evidence from emails he sent us. As for Martin being a naturist, have any of the members of Continuing Care, Inc. or Natura Fellowship ever seen him naked? Stand up and be counted.

Keeping references to naturist-christians.org

[edit]

For some reason, a person or persons hiding behind an AOL anon IP address continually remove or vandalize references to the naturist-christians.org website. While I understand that there may be some controversy with the development of a Christian naturist village under development by one of the managers of the site, the vast majority of the website deals with the real Christians living out or investigating a real naturist lifestyle. The site is also home to volumes of information showing that Christians have been involved naturism since the first century.

I would ask the person or persons that are vandalizing this wiki to please halt.

Son-cerely,

Nathan Powers

Redirect

[edit]

I'm redirecting this article to the more complete one at Christian Naturism, which I didn't even realize existed. I think everything that's in this one is already covered there, and this article has't been edited in ages except for a few dozen removals and replacements of that one link. -- Vary | Talk 17:42, 3 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
