separating

[edit]

This list needs to sort the cities of Richmond from the counties, as all cities in Virginia are independent cities and are seperate from the counties. Liar.thief.vandal 18:48, 4 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

What is Springfield? Or Berkeley?

[edit]

Hmmm.

Mike Dillon did a change in this topic moving the link from "Berkeley" to "Berkeley, Virginia". I did something similar, moving "Springfield" to "Springfield, Virginia".

But on second though, I wonder if those changes were correct. The Springfield change I made was in Hanover County, within Coatesville. I found another hit in Northumberland County, under Heathsville.

What is "Springfield" in this context? There's only one "Berkeley", but it is listed under "Charles City" in Charles City County.

This article has zero context and just a ton of red links. What's the real purpose for it? -- Mikeblas 08:00, 30 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

merger proposal

[edit]

Perhaps prematurely, i began adding "mergeto" proposals onto separate lists of VA counties lists. I thought they were already all in Elkman table form. The merger should wait for now, until the tables are done.

An only partially complete draft for a replacement combo main index page is at National Register of Historic Places listings in Virginia/temp. doncram (talk) 03:05, 5 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I moved the tally by counties table-in-progress from the Temp page into this main List article, just now in response to some questioning of the Temp page's continued existence in mainspace, and i requested its deletion. Hope this work in progress is okay here. doncram (talk) 06:00, 19 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

re-created articles

[edit]

I recreated some county and city articles that were deleted without discussion. I assume that we intend to create seperate articles for ALL counties and cities with NRHP listings. --JeffConn (talk) 16:53, 21 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Good stub article creation drive on NRHPs of Henrico County

[edit]

Hey, a few editors are going to march through the 29 NRHPs listed in National Register of Historic Places listings in Henrico County, Virginia to start or develop good starter articles, starting about now (5/5/2010). Each article is to include inline references to the good NRHP nomination documents, photos, maps made available by Virginia's Department of Historic Resources, whose Henrico County documents are indexed here. Please join in! Any suggestions for DYK nominations, comments, questions welcome. :) --doncram (talk) 16:59, 5 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Varina Farms OR Varina Plantation?

[edit]

The article name for the NHRP nominated Varina Plantation] is Varina Farms, for the current name of the property.

I thought that articles about NHRP properties should be based upon the historic name / reason why it is of historic significance. Should the article remain Varina Farms, or be moved to Varina Plantation?

Thanks!–CaroleHenson (talk) 18:42, 8 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
