Proposal to rename this article to National Art Gallery (Manila)

[edit]

This building has been the home of the National Art Gallery (National Museum of Fine Arts) of the National Museum of the Philippines for some time now. And based on Wikipedia practice, we normally use the current name for articles on buildings and we do not just write information on their current use and status, but also its history and former use, e.g, the DOT Building (now Museum of Natural History (Manila), the Finance building (now Museum of the Filipino People), Westin Philippine Plaza Hotel (now Sofitel Philippine Plaza Manila), Fort William McKinley (now Fort Bonifacio), etc.--RioHondo (talk) 19:34, 17 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

  • Done. The article is now at National Museum of Fine Arts following WP practice to use current names of buildings and structures as article titles. History of the Old Legislative Building was retained, with the former title as a redirect.--RioHondo (talk) 07:33, 12 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
