"Preservation efforts produce the most number of jobs in the nation’s economy.33"

The above statement is clearly indefensible if compared to defense, finance, food service or other sectors. I recommend revising it to something more precise and less exaggerated.

Hi, I am researching and writing a paper assignment on the subject for the Savannah College of Art and Design Historic Preservation Department. We are to write a paper and then post it on Wikipedia. We have been given the assignment to update and rewrite information on this topic. Just wanted to let you know of our project.

Thank you, Volleyball_coach08

Making use of the recently provided material

The history section does not speak to NHPA in particular; the background is very useful but should probably be summarized here and then moved to a new "Historic Preservation in the United States" article, which obviously needs to discuss NHPA among other things. So, the entire law was moved to Title 54USC. I'm not sure the standard infobox even makes sense anymore as it doesn't seem to allow for this moving of laws. What exactly is amended and created by a law when it's moved to a whole new title 50 years after the fact? Also, I couldn't even figure how to change the those sections in the infobox, as Title 54 doesn't seem to correspond to the standard layout. Following the 16 USC link in the infobox leads to references that the provisions have been repealed. However, many of the protections still exist in 54 USC. Moved or amended? To find cases on historic protections it may be necessary to query for the 16 USC provisions and 54 USC provisions.42Squire (talk) 16:54, 8 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
