As of 1/25, the only listed award winners of the National Book Critics Circle Award are those who won for Poetry. This seems highly negligent, seeing as how there are eight categories in all: Fiction, General Nonfiction, Biography, Autobiography, Criticism, Poetry, the Ivan Sandrof Lifetime Achievement Award and the Nona Balakian Citation for Excellence in Reviewing. I suggest listing the past winners in a similar manner as the website lists them, namely by year. [1] I aim to also add additional history about the organization and how the books are nominated. It may also be necessary to split the articles in the future, but that will be a while yet. Any opinions/additions would be highly welcome. María: (habla ~ cosas) 17:24, 25 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Very good point, yes. Otherwise the article would become far too long, and quite an eyesore, to list the history of all eight awards on one article. I also agree with the splitting of the NBCC and their awards; I found that somewhat confusing, myself. I'll see what I can do with beginning this little project. Thanks for the input, Leflyman!
