"native tussock-forming grasses." Native to where? Of the South American native tussock-forming grasses? Most common in the wild or most common of the cultivated species? The latter can often be the cases when discussing grasses. KP Botany 18:15, 19 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

N. pulchra more resistant to drought than associated annuals - Bromus diandrus, B. hordeaceus, Avena barbata, in So California, remains green into June, while annuals senesce in March-April at the latest (personal observation)--DSLeB (talk) 02:46, 22 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
