PLEASE CHANGE!!! When you type "ICEX" in the Search-box, one should immediately see that ICEX is an abbreviation for: - ICEX (Instituto Español de Comercio Exterior / Spanish Institute for Foreign Trade) - ICEX (Iceland Stock Exchange) As of today one only finds information about the Iceland Stock Exchange!!!

The abbreviation "ICEX" is not only the abbrivation for the "Iceland Stock Exchange". I is also the abbreviation for the "Instituto Español de Comercio Exterior" (Spanish Institute for Foreign Trade), a well-known Spanish institute, and part of the Spanish Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Trade ("Ministerio de Industria, Turismo y Comercio").

When typing "ICEX" in the Wikipedia search box, one should first find this information, that the abbreviation ICEX has multiple meanings, instead of going directly to a page only talking about the Iceland Stock Exchange.

For example, when someone searches for "KUL", you can see that KUL is an abbreviation for "Katholieke Universiteit Leuven" (Catholic University of Leuven, in Belgium), for "Kuala Lumpur International Airport", etc... Link: http://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/KUL

I already started another page: http://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Spanish_Institute_for_Foreign_Trade See also: http://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/List_of_institutes_by_region#Spain

Perhaps worth updating the last paragraph of the intro

[edit]

It is very out of date, given the OMX Iceland All-Shares index is now at 2619.10 as of Jan 6 2022. A lot above the last sentence's assertion from 2018 that the index "was yet to reach 670". — Preceding unsigned comment added by OrangeisBright (talkcontribs) 20:28, 6 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
