Notability
[edit]Can anyone explain why this singer is significant for the encyclopedia. She does not have any albums, just three songs, which has totally about 30,000 views on YouTube. Participated in the local competition and took the 9-10-th place and won secondary nomination in not significant ceremony.--188.115.241.69 (talk) 17:29, 3 March 2013 (UTC)
- Read the AfD dicussion. Then read WP:GNG. No one is saying she is highly notable, but the discussion revealed awards and news coverage sufficient to suggest she is notable. Why are you burning up over this?--Milowent • hasspoken 21:32, 3 March 2013 (UTC)
- Why you are misrepresenting the facts. What awards, what are you talking?--46.241.234.47 (talk) 09:03, 4 March 2013 (UTC)
- I read criterias for musicians and ensembles, and she is not suitable for one of these. I want to nominate it once again.--46.241.229.162 (talk) 09:08, 4 March 2013 (UTC)
- Тhis is not fair from your side. You just ignoring the criterias of notability, and it is unclear why.--46.241.224.164 (talk) 15:13, 4 March 2013 (UTC)
Criterias for musicians and ensembles says.
“ | Has won or been nominated for a major music award, such as a Grammy, Juno, Mercury, Choice or Grammis award. | ” |
But Armenian National Music Awards is not a major ceremony, and she is is not suitable under this criteria.--46.241.224.164 (talk) 15:23, 4 March 2013 (UTC)
- These are the same arguments that did not prevail in the AfD. I am not misrepresenting any facts, I am having a bit of trouble understanding your concerns.--Milowent • hasspoken 13:54, 5 March 2013 (UTC)
- It only means that you have a biased attitude to the article, because this article is not suitable under these criteria. You simply rejecting all my arguments, and it is unclear why.--46.241.237.164 (talk) 15:00, 5 March 2013 (UTC)
- The rough consensus appears to have been to keep the page. You seem to be having difficulty in accepting this. --Malcolmxl5 (talk) 00:18, 6 March 2013 (UTC)
- Can you explain what's wrong? Why you are so unfair in the discussion? Why the second time you close the discussion without waiting for its completion? Why did you do that?--46.241.229.240 (talk) 11:19, 7 March 2013 (UTC)
Yes, you have excellent approach to the issue - to ignore the messages. Of course, if there are no arguments, it is the best way.--46.241.245.206 (talk) 13:36, 8 March 2013 (UTC)
without discussing the significance of the ceremony, without investigating the credibility of the sources, without discussing the question, you have accepted this unfair decision.--46.241.248.253 (talk) 14:17, 8 March 2013 (UTC)
