What's up with this line?

The Chinese sacred lily is neither sacred nor a lily.

While I'm sure that there is a good fairly unambiguous definition of what constitutes a lily, how is it that something can be deemed either sacred or not sacred? While there are many things that we could perhaps rather easily categorize as one or the other, to my knowledge there is nothing that defines something as being sacred in any clear cut fashion. Please check pucntuation as it is somewhat ambigous and could mean either of the plants have an animal scent: "Its fragrance is quite different from that of its distant cousin, the paperwhite narcissus which has an animal scent to many people." Note also that species within the same genus tend not to be considered distant cousins. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 121.210.161.143 (talk) 23:56, 10 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

What does this mean: 'Grand Soleil d'Or' and 'Ziva', which are popularly used for forcing indoors,. Can someone clean this up? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.109.179.247 (talk) 22:58, 16 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
