وكان صفوان من أشد الناس عداوة وكرهًا للنبي وأصحابه. قبل أن يدخل في الإسلام، أسلمت زوجته ناجية بنت الوليد بن المغيرة يوم فتح مكة، وظل هو على كفره وعداوته للإسلام حتى منَّ الله عليه بالإسلام، فأسلم.

Translation:

And Safwan was one of the biggest enemies of the Prophet and his Sahaba.
