Picture
[edit]With all due respect to the photographer, the picture in this article is of pretty low quality. It cuts off most of the building, is at a strange angle, and the blur and window glare (aside from the guardrail) make it pretty clear it was taken from a moving vehicle. Is there any other picture someone can offer that might be better for an encyclopedia? Maybe a straight-on shot? Beginning 00:17, 16 January 2007 (UTC)
Criteria for Induction
[edit]The blatant plug for Artis Gilmore's induction into the Hall of Fame, might be correct, but it's not factual and doesn't belong in the article. I can't say I disagree with the point the note makes, especially in light of the fact that the 2007 Class has five coaches and no players. I'm not sure if everyone agrees, but isn't the game about the players? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Dvenedam (talk • contribs) 18:18, 2 April 2007 (UTC).

Fair use rationale for Image:Bball hof.gif
[edit]Image:Bball hof.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Cleanup
[edit]This paragraph needs cleanup.
"Because the Hall—in contrast to the Pro Football Hall of Fame and the Baseball Hall of Fame—honors not only American professionals but also international professionals and American and international amateurs, it employs four screening committees to identify prospective nominees: one each for American candidates, female candidates, international candidates, and veterans candidates (players, coaches, or referees who have been retired at least 35 years prior to their being nominated)."

- No offense to anyone, but this whole article needs cleanup, badly.

Overall Additions
[edit]I plan on making a few additions to this page. One of the first ones is to add some sources early on. In the Lead section, there are no sources cited, and I will add one or two that I have found that correspond with the information provided there. I’ll also rearrange the History section a bit, so that it is easier to read and process. Currently, the order of some of the information, and the wording, is a bit confusing. Lastly, I’ll add a good bit of information to the Controversy section, as it’s lacking in that area. --96.227.142.178 (talk) 12:21, 3 August 2020 (UTC) T.J. Berger

New Inductees
[edit]Why hasn't this been updated with new inductees in three years? Surely, there must be new members from 2020 and 2021. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 108.45.87.134 (talk) 19:38, 17 June 2022 (UTC)
