It may be worth considering changing the status from "On Hiatus" to "Completed."
The Haruhi Suzumiya series novels are quoted on the main wikipedia Haruhi Suzumiya page as being released from June 6, 2003 – June 15, 2011.[1]
No new novels have been released and having read the novels the last one to be release makes the series seem completed but also leaves a lot open to interpretation. Leaving things open to interpretation is a standard for the series but it also seems like the author is leaving himself some hooks for if he were to continue writing in the future.
I have been unable find any direct source from the author that definitively states he will continue the series. The only reference that there are more stories planned comes from an Official Fan book titles "The Observation of Haruhi Suzumiya" p. 121 The author states that he's thought of another story but has of yet to write it when responding in an interview.[2]
The context of the discussion and the reactions of the members, however, leaves it ambiguous whether there is more planned or that it was not said in earnest since the article jokingly censors when the author gives plot details in the exact same nature as is done in the novels themselves, especially when considering that this source is opening avoiding plot details for the end of the last published work.
Given it is over five years with no additional information it is difficult to say how accurate "Hiatus" it may be more appropriate to list it as "Indefinite Hiatus"
