NISA Nation's Status

Hello @Jay eyem: According to one of NISA Nation's articles, NISA Nation provides amateur independent clubs a groundbreaking path to professional status. This coincides with the fact that NISA is working on a long-term goal to have a promotion and relegation system between the professional division and NISA Nation, as well as between NISA Nation and seven affiliated regional leagues, according to the National Independent Soccer Association's Wikipedia article, if you scroll down to the article's section called NISA Nation and Affiliates.

Some of those affiliated leagues have already entered into promotion and relegation agreements with other amateur leagues, and so it is possible to construct a pyramid with NISA's Division III professional league at the top. And with NISA Nation being the second level of this future pyramid, and also simultaneously providing amateur independent clubs a groundbreaking path to professional status, it can be considered as an unofficial fourth tier league.

Besides, NISA Nation has to go somewhere onto the American Soccer Pyramid. It can't just be sitting on the outside of it doing nothing. Even the USASA has given the league provisional national league status, and when the 2022 season ends, the league will be applying for full national league status. I don't understand why you think NISA Nation doesn't belong in the American Soccer Pyramid, if even the USASA recognizes it as a provisional national league. I hope my explanation is enough for us to reach a consensus with one another and agree that NISA Nation can be considered as an unofficial fourth tier league because this is a lot of information, and just like you wanted, I provided reliable sources that demonstrate this claim.--192.157.116.135 (talk) 02:30, 17 February 2022 (UTC)

Hello @Jay eyem: I agree with what @192.157.116.135: has recently just mentioned in the above paragraph. It is recognized as a provisional national league by the USASA, and it will soon become the gateway for amateur independent clubs towards professional status. So can we please put NISA Nation back onto the American Soccer Pyramid? There's enough information to support this claim, and it's all coming from reliable sources. Hello people, I agree with your decision, NISA Nation is de facto a 4th tier league and it's almost sure that this condition will became de iure for the end of the season so I don't see no reasons to not put them in 4th tier Wikidoge04 (talk) 01:43, 18 February 2022 (UTC)

I am fine with including it in the article. I very much disagree with the decision to put it on par with NPSL and USL2. For starters, there is no official designation for tiers below the third tier, so it is inappropriate to label it as such without reliable sources. The league's own sources do not qualify as they are not independent, so you'll need to find something more substantial than that. Additionally, the fact that they are applying to be that national league status doesn't really matter if it isn't recognized by USSF on the matter, such as qualifying for automatic spots in the US Open Cup. I am happy to include it in the level below NPSL and USL2, but not on equal footing. If that changes in the future, then there should be no issue changing it in the future, but for now leave it where it is. Jay eyem (talk) 16:26, 18 February 2022 (UTC)

2023 Official status?

In 2022 they were under a provisional USASA status with the stated goal of seeking permanent status in 2023. It's now 2023, did they gain official status from either the USASA and/or USSF? Gecko G (talk) 20:56, 11 April 2023 (UTC)
