I have compiled this Article initially out of curiosity, as MicroMuse was awarded it in 1996. The official websites for NII and GII are all disconnected, so no information available there. It appears there have been no GII Awards since 1999, now a decade ago. However looking all of the sites which proudly list being semi-finalists or finalists, not just winners, it seems they are still highly regarded today.
I began to Search for recipients in order to compile a centralised list. I have found that other Articles list receiving an Award, and will create links to and from them. This is my first attempt at creating an Article. NaGromOne (talk) 19:39, 14 May 2009 (UTC)
