This page serves mainly as just a list. It would probably be better served merging the individual lists in with each of the different tournaments' main pages. fuzzy510 09:05, 4 April 2006 (UTC)
This award is not meant to be considered a Most Valuable Player award...
[edit]...so what is the difference between being "outstanding" and being "valuable"? jnestorius(talk) 18:37, 20 July 2008 (UTC)
- Good question! I've wondered that myself, but for some reason the NCAA wants to be weird and call it an "MOP" (how nice, name the guy who is fulfilling many a dream of young b-ball players everywhere after janitorial equipment :P). I personally still call it MVP anyway.75.81.253.160 (talk) 08:19, 13 October 2014 (UTC)
Tournament or Final Four award
[edit]There is a discussion at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject College Basketball § NCAA Tournament MOP about whether this is an award for the Tournament or the Final Four.—Bagumba (talk) 09:15, 7 April 2022 (UTC)
