Gjakova

[edit]

The article's title is Gjakova. All related articles use Gjakova. The current title was changed in 2015. @Amanuensis Balkanicus: if you to change the title, file a move request and the community will decide the outcome of your request. Peja changed after a discussion which lasted two months. Article titles are not going to change without a consensus. Thank you.--Maleschreiber (talk) 00:16, 18 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

It was changed without any discussion in 2015 by sockmaster Lindi29. The fact that Lindi29 was not reverted for this long is a travesty. It's on you to demonstrate why the sockmaster shouldn't be reverted, not on me to file a move request. Amanuensis Balkanicus (talk) 00:21, 18 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Indeed. The demand to start a move request is absurd. Maleschreiber, you should revert yourself as a sign of good faith. Khirurg (talk) 00:32, 18 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

"Gjakova" is used in all other related articles, this is already a sufficient reason. Lorik17 (talk) 00:35, 18 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I can't know the details of someone's editing history five years ago. This is a WP:STABLE title which corresponds to cross-article consistency: Gjakova. I've had to file RM even for articles which I knew that I was the only person who was interested. And I remember that Peja was changed after a very difficult discussion. Toponyms can't be changed via simple move. The community can discuss all changes via WP:RM. Thank you.--Maleschreiber (talk) 00:49, 18 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
