Delta-V capability

[edit]

Dawn (spacecraft) says "Dawn can perform a velocity change of more than 10 km/s over the course of its mission, far more than any previous spacecraft achieved with onboard propellant after separation from its launch rocket.[43]" - What did Deep Space 1 achieve ? Could start a table with say hours-of-thrust, delta-V ... ? Here and/or ion propulsion - Rod57 (talk) 18:26, 16 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Be clearer on type and design

[edit]

It mentions two grids, so is this a gridded ion thruster (rather than a Hall-effect thruster) ? and is the diagram (with magnets) relevant to NSTAR ? - Rod57 (talk) 14:28, 19 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Is the power conversion module considered part of NSTAR

[edit]

Seems likely, so more details (eg mass, efficiency) in this article would be nice. - Rod57 (talk) 11:15, 6 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
