World's largest?
[edit]"The NAMM Show is considered the largest music products trade show in the world, its only major competition being the Musik Messe in Frankfurt." Which is about four times larger. "Worlds second largest music products trade show" would be a simple and accurate description. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 121.98.142.16 (talk) 01:31, 7 October 2008 (UTC)
Or the version "One of the worlds largest music trade shows" as existed before the Feb 2008 edit. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 121.98.142.16 (talk) 01:35, 7 October 2008 (UTC)
- I've changed this to 'one of the world's largest...'. I've also removed 'upcoming shows' as this is a bit too time sensitive for an encyclopedic site and anyone wishing to find this out can surely do so from the external links provided. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.229.225.16 (talk) 16:39, 19 January 2009 (UTC)
Additional references
[edit]Re: It needs additional references or sources for verification. Tagged since March 2011. "The NAMM Show is one of the largest music product trade shows in the world, founded in 1901" How much more "verification" does this event require??? Over a hundred years of history is not valid enough?
- I expanded the article, added numerous references, and removed the tag. synthfiend (talk) 19:21, 4 October 2023 (UTC)
She Rocks Awards
[edit]Draft of "She Rocks Awards" article was denied submission because it took place at The NAMM Show. Moved information to this page as a result. https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Draft:She_Rocks_Awards Actaudio (talk) 06:30, 26 February 2019 (UTC)
- In my opinion, what needs to happen is that Women’s International Music Network needs to be split from the Laura B. Whitmore article, then the "She Rocks Awards" section of this article needs to move to the Women's International Music Network article. synthfiend (talk) 22:49, 31 January 2024 (UTC)

- Per the above discussion, I split the "Women's International Music Network" section from the Laura B. Whitmore article to create Women’s International Music Network, then moved (and revised) the information from the "She Rocks Awards" section of this article to the Women's International Music Network article. I hope others agree that this was the right thing to do. synthfiend (talk) 23:03, 23 February 2024 (UTC)
