Breaking Bad special

[edit]

This is to remind everyone that the section for the Breaking Bad special had already been made as that episode had already been aired here in my part of the world last month. For the benefit of those of you in the US, where it would air tomorrow night EDT, the section is currently hidden with comment tags. By the time the episode airs there and I am not here to remove those comment tags, please remove those comment tags for me (using the edit source link under Bifurcated Boat) and also correct the wrong info accordingly. Traffic Tricks

[edit]

I'm not in Australia and stumbled across this this episode being referenced by various articles online. Apparently this episode was only shown in Australia and on July 22, 2013 (presumably on S.B.S. One). That said I'm not sure how people want to proceed with its listing. I'm not sure if it was shown only in Australia as a way to play a new ep when they weren't allowed to a particular ep there. Also, I'm not sure when—if ever—this ep will be shown on U.S. television. --Maikeru Go (talk) 21:39, 13 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

- It's also on the DVD box set I received a couple of weeks ago. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 130.216.168.236 (talk) 23:58, 19 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I'm the one who added Traffic Tricks to the episode overview as it aired in The Netherlands on december 28. Someone who has no username added "citation needed", but really, the Discovery NL website doesn't go back far enough for such a link. I had already provided a screenshot in my comment as proof: https://cdn.anonfiles.com/1388326316199.jpg. There must be some way to do this, not every television program has a website and you just can't link to a TV channel, it's a completely different technology. I can't upload the whole episode either, that's copyright infringement. This seems mad: I've seen it on TV, have provided proof, there is no other way citation could be provided if the Discovery website happens to not list it. What IMHO is even more insane is that when an episode airs in the US, no citation is needed! Like American citizens are somehow more trustworthy than other world citizens or something? What is that all about? Links to the American Discovery website also just link the TV guide and that only shows recently aired shows. I could have linked the dutch TV guide a few weeks ago when the episode was still listed on it, I guess I should have. But thanks for the comment on SBS - their TV guide DOES go back, I'll just link that!W3ird N3rd (talk) 23:46, 20 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Colour contrast problems

[edit]

It seems that this article is using colours in the infobox which don't satisfy Wikipedia's accessibility guidelines. The contrast between the foreground colour and the background colour is low, which means that it may be difficult or impossible for people with visual impairments to read it.

To correct this problem, a group of editors have decided to remove support for invalid colours from Template:Infobox television season and other television season templates after 1 September 2015. If you would still like to use custom colours for the infobox and episode list in this article after that date, please ensure that the colours meet the WCAG AAA standard.

To test whether a colour combination is AAA-compliant you can use Snook's colour contrast tool. If your background colour is dark, then please test it against a foreground colour of "FFFFFF" (white). If it is light, please test it against a foreground colour of "000000" (black). The tool needs to say "YES" in the box for "WCAG 2 AAA Compliant" when you input the foreground and the background colour. You can generally make your colour compliant by adjusting the "Value (%)" fader in the middle box.

Please be sure to change the invalid colour in every place that it appears, including the infobox, the episode list, and the series overview table. If you have any questions about this, please ask on Template talk:Infobox television season. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 05:30, 2 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
