Hello! I am the reviewer, AJona1992. Please address the following concerns so this article be a GA, thank you.

Rate Attribute Review Comment
1. Well-written:
1a. the prose is clear, concise, and understandable to an appropriately broad audience; spelling and grammar are correct. The article fails Manual of Style and NPOV. Some sections like "Career" and "Personal life" uses too many run ons and fancrut.

This statement here: having been involved in several notable projects throughout his career fails NPOV, again we do not need to state that projects are "notable", Myles has an article because he is notable enough to be on Wikipedia. This sentence can do if you remove "notable" from there. Also that huge sentence that begins with "He has worked as a session musician and songwriter..." needs to be shorten, its a run on.

1b. it complies with the Manual of Style guidelines for lead sections, layout, words to watch, fiction, and list incorporation. The lead section fails Manual of Style and NPOV.

Stating that Myles is best known as the lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist of the rock band Alter Bridge and the touring vocalist of Slash's current solo project fails NPOV's characterizing opinions of people's work and attributing and specifying biased statements. If you can re-write that section, without stating "best known" (unless you can find a source that states this), also the reference here only states that Myles belongs to the group Alter Bridge and doesn't state that he is "best known" as their lead vocalist.

Kennedy was born in Boston, Massachusetts - this needs to be at the very top of the lead section not towards the bottom

was subsequently raised in Spokane, Washington -removed subsequently

where he attended Spokane Falls Community College to study music theory -source?

He began his music career in 1990 as the lead guitarist of the instrumental jazz ensemble Cosmic Dust, with which he released one studio album -explain? and source? (why should this be on the lead section, did this make him more notable in his career, did it jump start his career?)

2. Verifiable with no original research:
2a. it contains a list of all references (sources of information), presented in accordance with the layout style guideline. this statement here: A former guitar instructor originally from the Spokane, Washington area, Kennedy is known for his ability as both a guitarist and a vocalist, possessing a tenor vocal range that spans four octaves is cited by their album's booklet which is original research.

His second band, Citizen Swing, released two studio albums before disbanding in 1995. He became the lead vocalist and lead guitarist of the Spokane-based rock band The Mayfield Four in 1996 -source?

2b. reliable sources are cited inline. All content that could reasonably be challenged, except for plot summaries and that which summarizes cited content elsewhere in the article, must be cited no later than the end of the paragraph (or line if the content is not in prose). An album's booklet can't be cited as a reference. Too many claims not sourced.

2c. it contains no original research. The entire career and style and influences sections needs to be re-written, sourced, remove original research, it also fails NPOV. These sections also has a lot of fancrut.
3. Broad in its coverage:
3a. it addresses the main aspects of the topic. Looks good.
3b. it stays focused on the topic without going into unnecessary detail (see summary style). A lot of run over on the section "Personal life".
4. Neutral: it represents viewpoints fairly and without editorial bias, giving due weight to each. Fails NPOV
5. Stable: it does not change significantly from day to day because of an ongoing edit war or content dispute. IPs continue to vandalize this article with unsourced negative content which was made two weeks ago, and is accompany by another one several days after. The article seems to be written or edit more often by IPs with vandalism history then by verified accounts.
6. Illustrated, if possible, by media such as images, video, or audio:
6a. media are tagged with their copyright statuses, and valid non-free use rationales are provided for non-free content. The images are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 Unported license
6b. media are relevant to the topic, and have suitable captions. Images are relevant to the topic and have appropriate captions.
7. Overall assessment. Overall, the article needs help to getting a GA status. (look below for more comments)
  • The Mayfield Four disbanded in 2002. After declining an offer to audition as the lead vocalist of Velvet Revolver -why?
  • He has released three studio albums with Alter Bridge -explain a little (have any of the album made it to music charts and record sales can help)
  • Since early 2010, Kennedy has been touring extensively, switching between tours with Alter Bridge and Slash, his two main projects. He also has a solo album that he hopes to release in 2012 -remove extensively and hopes, why was he switching between tours?
  • as well as a collaboration album with Slash to be released also in the future -explain?
  • According to his profile on the Internet Movie Database, his father, Richard, died when he was four years old and his mother subsequently went on to marry a minister -removed this sentence which is based on OR
  • He states that he spent a lot of time in the summer on vacation with his family at Lake Coeur d'Alene -explain? or removed too ORish
  • He attended Mead High School and, finding musical inspiration from Led Zeppelin, Marvin Gaye, and Stevie Wonder, began playing trumpet at the age of ten and guitar at fifteen, listening to Led Zeppelin records and copying the playing style of Jimmy Page. -Run on and source?
  • He found his singing voice by listening to his parents' Marvin Gaye and Stevie Wonder records, and also states that he subconsciously was influenced by Robert Plant. -re write, source, explain, and remove subconsciously.
  • He played guitar in the school's jazz band and trumpet in the marching band. -re write, source, why?
  • After graduating in 1988, he enrolled in Spokane Falls Community College to study music -why?
  • In "Personal life" section too many run ons "he said, she said" and "In an interview with, at".
  • Discography section needs to include all studio albums that Myles was on.
  • Filmography section needs sources.
