- ... that Adele's song "My Little Love" features voice notes of her nine-year-old son?
Created by MaranoFan (talk). Self-nominated at 12:49, 16 October 2023 (UTC). Post-promotion hook changes for this nom will be logged at Template talk:Did you know nominations/My Little Love; consider watching this nomination, if it is successful, until the hook appears on the Main Page.
- The article was created the same day as the nomination. The QPQ has been completed. I do not see any issues with the sourcing. The hook choice makes sense as this part of the song seems to have received the most attention and I could see it being "hooky" for readers. I was initially going to ask about linking "voice notes" to help readers who may be unfamiliar with the concept, but I could not find an article on it (which is rather odd imo but outside of the scope of this review), and I have seen featured content like 1989 not link this so it shouldn't be an issue. It checks out to me. Aoba47 (talk) 19:59, 16 October 2023 (UTC)

- Will endeavor to tackle this soon (no later than end of week or weekend), just juggling some stuff IRL. Pseud 14 (talk) 17:52, 25 October 2023 (UTC)
- In that case, please give preference to the IRL situation. Good luck with that!--NØ 17:55, 25 October 2023 (UTC)

Lead
- They highlighted it as one of the most emotional songs on 30 and thought it marked an emotional progression for Adele -- suggestion on wording: They complimented it as one of the most emotional songs on 30 and what they deemed as an emotional progression for Adele.
- And maybe the follow-up critique could go like this: Critics also highlighted the inclusion of the voice notes, praise centering on the songwriting and lyricism.
Background
- These conversations inspired her return to the studio and the album took shape -- perhaps the second mention of conversations can be dropped as this is mentioned in the previous sentence. Could be directly stated as it inspired her etc, or something along those lines.
- Though Adele considered that her son would probably dislike "My Little Love" in the future, she thought it was an important song and decided to put it on the album: "He'll probably go through stages of hating it when he's a teenager -- maybe tweak the statement as "probably" is already used in the quotation, just so it doesn't become repetitive.
