Coordinates & Maps

[edit]

The map used as a reference list the coordinates as 30° 8' 0" North, 71° 21' 0" East. The article gives the coordinates as 30° 13' 0" North, 71° 36' 0" East. Zooming in on the map until Muzafarabad appears shows the coordinates are not accurate, assuming that the Muzafarabad on the map is the Muzaffarabad this article is about. This google map gives the coordinates as 30.1373019 North, 71.3589865 East. Those convert to 30° 8' 14.29" North, 71° 21' 32.35" East. I note that the textile mill shown on the map appears to be outside of Muzafarabad. In any case the article coordinates seem to be wrong. Gab4gab (talk) 02:25, 23 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Gab4gab, your main concern on this page is notability. On English wikipedia there are thousands of settlement pages, which population is less than 100 like Dowlatabad-e Qadim-e Yek, i saw some villages page with 5 or less peoples. The subject Town's population is over hundreds of thousand. Colony Textile Mill is located in Ismailabad, which is part of Muzaffarabad. Subject town is 25 kilometer away from my residence, Muzaffargarh. So dont worry about notability. As for as coordinated, there may be mistake. i am not good in inserting coordinate. i shall be thankful, if you correct the mistake. --Ameen Akbar (talk) 07:34, 23 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
A town is typically notable if there is a reliable source indicating it exists. The content of the article should all be verifiable from published sources. You say that the textile mill is in Ismailabad which is part of Muzaffarabad. Where are the published sources to support those facts? The textile mill fire article makes no mention of Muzafffarabad or Ismailabad. I have removed the notability template and will update the coordinates to those of the Muzafarabad google map.
