Orientation of the article

[edit]

The article need revision and additional sourcing. As it is today describe the issue of the "mutilated victory" as a mere invention of irredentism. Indeed the article does not present the real issue. Italy had signed a Pact in London that could not be respected by the counterparties because in disagreement with another pact made with the Kingdom of Croats, Serbs and Slovenes. --Silvio1973 (talk) 14:23, 23 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

WikiProject Military History

[edit]

I've assessed the article as start-class - it's near C-class, but I don't have enough knowledge in this area to appraise its coverage or accuracy, and the referencing is not complete enough that I could cross-check against sources. Addressing B1 and B2 would easily bring this article up to B-class. — Sasuke Sarutobi (talk) 13:34, 7 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Etymology?

[edit]

Are there any sources on who first named it la vittoria mutilata? Was it in the writings of Gabriele d'Annunzio, or elsewhere? I've tried reading the Italian article, but nothing stands out. — Sasuke Sarutobi (talk) 15:21, 3 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

All lies about lines of nationality

[edit]

Quote: "which urged for the Italian border with Austria to be redrawn along "clearly recognizable lines of nationality".

So why give Austrian South-Tyrol to Italy? As it was German speaking and big area's are even till up to today, anti-italy (mainly close to Austrian border). Real reason why the border is that way, is cause the high mountains where easier to defend. Brennerpass is only one that could be used in winter. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2001:1C03:491A:D900:38B9:FC23:A722:5926 (talk) 07:55, 6 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
