Icelandic Music Awards?

The Emiliana Torrini article mentions the Icelandic Music Awards, but I can't find a link to anything like this anywhere. Any tips? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Cojoco (talkcontribs) 23:11, 4 October 2008 (UTC)

I am surprised that there is no mention in the article of Hörður Torfason, who has been performing his own music for over 40 years. Perhaps this could be because of his political activism which has ranged from promoting Gay Rights in the 1970s to masterminding the "Saucepan Revolution" two years ago, causing a complete turn-around in the Icelandic government. Internationally he is renowned as a promoter of passive resistance. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 27.252.228.113 (talk) 00:49, 9 June 2013 (UTC)

Iceland's isolation

"Iceland's isolation meant that, until the 19th century, foreign influences were virtually absent" This statement has no basis in real life and is based on old romantic, nationalistic views on the country. Langbrok (talk) 13:51, 28 February 2014 (UTC)
