Gatling

Natives

There seems to be some controversy about stating that the area was inhabited by Native Americans from tribes such as Nottoways, Meherrins and Chowanokes. Rather than just deleting that cited info, please help refine the statement to be less contentious. I've had a crack at refining it. If it's not perfect, please discuss here before removing it again.
