rename/move to Murambi Genocide Memorial Centre

[edit]

Since "The Murambi Technical School [is] now officially known as the Murambi Genocide Memorial Centre" shouldnt the school redirect to the memorial center and not the other way around? ViniTheHat (talk) 18:03, 12 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Claim not found in cited reference?

[edit]
When the killers ran out of ammunition they were re-supplied by the French military. "Rwanda Murabi". orwelltoday.com.

I read through the entire page cited (though not the entire series of articles, just the one linked to from here), and although it did mention that the French troops prevented the Tutsi from leaving until the Hutu arrived and started massacring them, I found no mention whatsoever of the French military re-supplying the Hutu killers. Murambi Technical SchoolMurambi Genocide Memorial CentreRelisted. I would like to see some data that shows this usage as WP:COMMONNAME. While WP:OFFICIAL does not prohibit using the official name, it does not mandate it either. Vegaswikian (talk) 21:53, 29 March 2012 (UTC) This building is much more famous as a genocide museum than as a technical school. If it had stayed a technical school it probably wouldn't even be notable. The article even states it's now known as the Murambi Genocide Memorial Centre. JIP | Talk 21:15, 22 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

"According to the guide at the memorial", this reference should be removed as it does not seem to be a reliable source.Lscottdavis (talk) 02:36, 26 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
