I have a question: on the Dutch language version of the Munstergeleen page, it says that Munstergeleen was a separate municipality between 1810 and 1982. I could find no verification of the 1810 date. Indeed, I have in my possession a commemorative tile that was meant to celebrate the years of Munstegeleen's status as a separate municipality, and it reads "Munstergeleen 1283 - 1981." I have not seen any verification of the 1283 date, either, beyond its appearance on that tile. Does anyone know a source for the starting year of Munstergeleen as a separate municipality (gemeente, in Dutch)? I can read Dutch, for the most part, so I can be pointed to a Dutch online source. I no longer live in Munstergeleen (or even in Europe) so it is difficult for me to go to the Town Hall to view documents there.

Thank you in advance for any help. DrJill-from-NH (talk) 17:29, 2 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I would like to thank the volunteer evaluators who have changed the rating of this article from "stub" status. I am unsure whether this article was not rated as "B" class because it did not have enough material or it had material deemed irrelevant. (I presume it did not fail the "no original research" or "citation" criteria because there are 36 in-line citations.) If it is due to a lack of material, I would be happy to add to the article if I could be pointed to additional sources of information on Munstergeleen (and I can read Dutch, for the most part). If it is due to the presence of irrelevant material, I would appreciate hearing what portion of the article is judged to be irrelevant.

Many thanks. DrJill-from-NH (talk) 22:30, 22 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
