More concrete, examples?
[edit]I would expect objects far away from a set of cameras to have much inter view coherence. I would expect objects not moving relative to set of cameras to have much inter frame coherence. I do believe there is not much compression to be gained from a sport event filmed from 4 different directions. The best application is indeed stereoscopy, at least after directors stop to artificially shrink large scale flight scenes to make them more stunning. If you find a source, I suggest to cherry-pick these easy to understand and satisfactory information. -- Arnero (talk) 07:27, 26 March 2010 (UTC)
Discussion of tone issues
[edit]At points written in a vague and casual manner, for example
The basic idea of this feature is quite simple, you are shooting a video with multiple angles, something is bound to be sort of common and you’d like to ensure frame precision, so what about encoding all the simultaneous frames captured in the same elementary stream.
