Signed off?
[edit]'Seven of these were signed off in July 2008, with a further three being signed off in January of 2009.' What does 'signed off' mean in this context, please?--Harkey (talk) 14:35, 17 August 2009 (UTC)
- As the MAAs include a series of requests for power, they have to be 'signed off' by both the PM and also the Department for Communities and Local Government (at the time it would have been Hazel Blears who signed it for the DCLG) in order to transfer these powers to the local authorities. Literally, it is one piece of paper signed by about 4 or 5 people that turns the MAA into a legally binding agreement --Daviessimo (talk) 21:17, 17 August 2009 (UTC)

External links modified
[edit]Hello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just added archive links to one external link on Multi-area agreement. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}}
after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}}
to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:
- Added archive https://web.archive.org/20100706031847/http://www.nlgn.org.uk:80/maaforum/signed-multi-area-agreements-and-areas-working-towards-them/ to http://www.nlgn.org.uk/maaforum/signed-multi-area-agreements-and-areas-working-towards-them/
When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true to let others know.
