Lead
- Per Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Lead section, the ideal length for a lead is 4 paragraphs. This has 6. This needs to be condensed, particularly the one-sentence paragraph at the end. Display name 99 (talk) 18:09, 23 August 2017 (UTC)
- "...event known as the Hegira.[22][23] A turning point in Muhammad's life, this Hijra..." The words "Hegira" and "Hijra" are spelled differently, but seem to refer to the same thing. If they are the same thing, they should be spelled the same way. If they are not, I recommend making a copyedit. Display name 99 (talk) 18:09, 23 August 2017 (UTC)
- Fix "better source needed" for cit. 31. Display name 99 (talk) 18:09, 23 August 2017 (UTC)
- "By the time he died in 632, his teachings had won the acceptance of Islam by almost all the tribes of the Arabian Peninsula." "his teachings had won the acceptance of Islam" makes no sense, because they are one in the same. Also, Islam had, within a few decades of his death, spread to most of the Middle East and North Africa. This ought to be included as well. Display name 99 (talk) 18:09, 23 August 2017 (UTC)
This is all for now. I see that the nominator has made no edits since February 13. Therefore, I'm not going to do a full review only to have nobody respond to it. I'll leave it like this for now. If within a week nobody responds, I will fail the article. Display name 99 (talk) 18:09, 23 August 2017 (UTC)
I'm failing now because nobody has responded for just over a week, despite the talk page message to the nominator having gone through. Display name 99 (talk) 01:42, 31 August 2017 (UTC)
