American folk music

The link from American Folk Music in the article is to a section of American Music. Would it be better linking directly to American Folk Music (which isn't a great article) or leaving it where it is?Hohenloh (talk) 22:58, 14 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I linked thus for American & British folk, considering these links more useful because:

Music...#Folk contained a prominent link to the ...Folk Music article,
the Folk stand-alone article was no better, and
links from the Folk back to the national music articles did not seem inviting.
