[edit]- Reference to adult movies hardly seems significant in the history of the city
- Many white South Africans "emigrating" to Transkei to avoid conscription doesn't sound likely (maybe a small handful) - citation needed.
- Ghost town / boom town - I found a recent article about this and added a reference.
- UCRFM as one of South Africa's most significant community radio stations - citation needed.

Name change
[edit]When exactly did the name officially change? Bezuidenhout (talk) 21:47, 24 June 2010 (UTC)
- I would look it up for you on the SAGNS website, but unfortunately that's been completely broken for months now... :-/ But I'll try Sabinet and see if I can find it in the Government Gazette. - htonl (talk) 21:57, 24 June 2010 (UTC)
- OK, I found it: Government Notice No. 830 in Government Gazette No. 26552 of 16 July 2004. The same notice changed Bisho to Bhisho, and a whole lot of other correction-of-spelling changes in the Eastern Cape. - htonl (talk) 22:04, 24 June 2010 (UTC)
- Thank you very much Htonl! I will add this to both articles :D Bezuidenhout (talk) 22:14, 24 June 2010 (UTC)
